Louise is a lyric,
coloratura soprano, who has experience in performing a wide range
of repertoire from opera and oratorio to popular classics, musicals
and light jazz. Performing in a variety of arenas from the opera stage
to soirees and private functions.
She performs regularly with
Contrasts Chamber Ensemble throughout the country in a
mix of Viennese and Georgian recital programmes.
She has
performed with the London Sinfionetta in London’s Royal Festival Hall and in
Bach’s St John Passion with the English
National Opera at London’s Coliseum.
Work on the
opera stage includes: Quivera in Purcell’s
Indian Queen, Zerlina in Mozart’s Don
Giovanni, Woman 3 in Converting
Maidenhood, Frau Kost in Kander’s
Cabaret, Mrs. Honour in Philidore's
Tom Jones and Poppea in Monteverdi's
L'incoronazione di Poppea,
for which she was awarded the Paul Simm opera prize.

Oratorio/concert work includes Schubert’s Shepherd on the Rock,
Brahms’s German Requiem, Mendelssohn’s
Hear My Prayer, Jonathan
Harvey’s Passion and Resurrection, and the French premier of Olivier Greif’s
Requiem for two choirs. She also participated in the reduced
choir in Vaughan William’s Sea Symphony as part of the Prom’s concerts at
the Royal Albert Hall and has also done some recording work for television and
radio.
This summer
she was invited to give a recital of Purcell's songs to
H.R.H. the Prince
of Wales at Highgrove House.
